Why We Should All Play Sport
Hi my name is Pavan and I’m going to tell you why we should all play sport or take part in physical activities.
It’s a fact that people who are active in sports are fitter, have healthier bodies and are more confident. The risk of high blood pressure, heart disease and other deadly diseases are lower among physically active people. So, being active and playing sports will actually help you to avoid getting such diseases. Just note, it is important for people to actually take part and play sport, not just watch it on TV - that doesn’t count, and being a couch potato is not counted as a sport. Neither is playing Fifa 15 on your xbox or playstation. In fact, playing sport will take you away from tv and technology like x-box and so you will have less strain on your eyes and better posture too. Sport plays a main part in making you really healthy and fit. It’s also really, really fun.
Now, you may say some Sports are too dangerous, like rugby, wrestling or boxing, but you shouldn’t use this as an excuse not to play anything. Join a sport or activity with a friend or choose something you like and enjoy. You don’t have to choose the hardest sport in the world like the triathlon. Even going to the gym is good, or you can play soccer in your lounge, if you’re lucky like me and have a big lounge, just watch out for the windows and the lights and you’ll be fine, and if you do break something, quickly hide the ball and run away.
To Make any activity or sport easier and easier you have to practise and at the same time you’ll get really active and fit and live a longer life. It also lowers your blood pressure, and protects you from heart failure and death.
Also, it’s good to remember that along with being active, You will also have to eat some healthy foods like vegetables, fruits, milk and drink lots of water. Don’t worry, you can also eat some cake, biscuits and ice cream because all of the sports you are playing will help to burn up the fat and sugar.
If it’s a hot day, it’s good to go outside and play sport. You also get fresh air and Vitamin D from the sun. And if it’s a really cold day and your heaters don’t work, just run for 5-10 minutes and then see if you get warmer. You can also burn of lots of calories if you play lots of sport. And instead of having six pack flabs you’ll have six pack abs.
Sport also helps you make friends and it’s really fun to play with a team. You will also learn new skills and if you want, you can join a club and make even more friends different from school. If you train hard with your team, you’ll improve, and if you get good enough and you’re playing as a forward you can have a chance to score a goal!(if it’s soccer, like I play)
I think we can all play a sport and it will make a huge difference to making our health better and we all will enjoy it. We all can join a club for our favourite sport and have loads of fun!
